Sean Bell

Sean BellSean Bell is a founder member of the Brighton Salon and a journalist who formerly worked in the local press and on the magazines Computing and Campaign. Sean has written dozens of reviews of salon events and occasionally contributes to other publications.

Recent articles include: A Battle in Print for the Battle of Ideas Festival called Rethinking Privacy, which is reproduced in this site's Salon Writing area; a guide to activism in relation to the regulation of Brighton's drinking habits for Culture Wars, the Institute of Ideas' review, which can be read via the link top right; and an essay on the future of journalism, its business models and user-generated content for the launch of Proof.org, concerned with professional and academic journalism (http://www.proof-reading.org/professional-journalism-is-not-a-business-model).
